When I have used Armor All in the past, not only did it leave a shiny dashboard, it also left a gummy dashboard. So I don't want to use it anymore.I can't stand a shiny/glossy dashboard, so I avoid standard Armor All.
I found this Meguiar's solution and love it----dash looks clean, with a low-luster sheen, and does not attract dust or grime at all:

Is there alcohol in them? Best not to use any alcohol-based products on your dash.the product i use certainly doesnt do anything for shine or luster. but it picks up the dust and grime, and thats what i want.
I bought one of the huge cases of costco baby wipes. I keep one in my bag of crap in the back. as long as its not winter when they freeze. they clean up just about everything. from what i can tell dont leave a film, and they are way cheaper than anything else i have tried besides soap and water.
