Thanks for reading.
It's a 2005, Tahoe 1500 4x4, all-around-disc, with hydroboost brakes, that makes a loud squeak from the comination/proportional valve when the brakes are stomped on; hard and quickly. The sound is 100% certainly emitting from the combo valve. It makes the sound whether the engine is running or not, and whether the truck is moving or sitting still. The brakes perform well; there is no skidding of the rear tires when panic stopping. The only issue is the loud squeak from the valve. I scoured the web for hours and came up with nothing. Is anyone familiar with this issue who can shed some much needed light here? Much appreciated.
