Thanks for the input Shawn - One of my next issues is how to get those moldings off the door sills without breaking them. Do they just pop off, or are they glued or something?

You'll be happy to know I'm looking at 1K watt sub amps now!

:biggun:

They just pop off, pull vertically and they come off pretty easily, I have never broken one. I have however broken the plastic the metal clips fit on by not aligning them before i snap them back in so beware of that.

Congrats on upgrading the power. I dont know if you need 1k watts lol, but Im sure you would want more than the 300 you were looking at before lol. Should sound great when your done! I ran my power wire around the back of the 2nd row and under the middle so its hidden more. But my 600.1 mono is fairly small so I just used some strong double sided tape to adhere it to the carpet. a year later and its still secure and hidden.

I know it's not a NBS but I mounted my a2300hct under the 60 with cap under the 40 in my OBS. power wire is 0 gauge coming back from the alt, with 50amp circuit breaker, and i cut out a small circle of carpet, welded in a stud for the ground a few inches away from the amp to keep the ground as short as possible.
