I have an older Kenwood touchscreen DVD player in the dash. Is there any way to connect it with the rear DVD player so that a DVD playing in the head unit will play on the rear screen as well with audio out all the speakers?

Not sure if it's possible but a guy can dream...

I just ran RCA cables from the my Alpine to the rear DVD player and plugged it in there.
I turned on AUX out on my head unit and it works.

A lot of those DVD head units have a video output on the back of the unit. You can run the RCA cable to the DVD player in the back and you should get the same picture on both screens at the same time.
