Hi all:

First time poster here, and... first time American car owner! (all previous imports). Life and the kids caught up with me, so I am now the proud owner of a Yukon XL Denali.

Was playing around with the audio settings and saw that there are four icons on the bottom strip (Driver, Center, Rear, and something else that I can't recall). There is also the icon of the car in the top right-hand corner of the screen which allows you to move the center-point using the arrows.

Is it possible to create your own settings for each of the four icons, or are they already pre-set and if you want something different you can customize your own using the arrows? In essence, is it four pre-sets plus custom?

Although I can hear the difference when cycling among the pre-sets, the visual representation of the center-point (on the car icon) does not change which I find odd (typically good to get visual feedback as well). I assume that this is working as intended?

Thanks in advance for the help. I am sure that I'll have some other teething problems (I am diligently following the other threads about using the USB ports to provide content to the RSE).

I believe you can just set custom tones and "talk". Kinda wish there was a few presets as well as input specific ones.

So I tried playing with these Audio presets again (you can access via the Menu\Tone Settings and there are a series of audio center-point icons across the bottom of the screen along with a visual representation of the car to the right with an adjustable center-point.

I now believe that each of the presets (Driver, Center, Rear and Normal) are just that -presets - but that any changes you make to the car icon will affect all of the presets. IN essence, if you move the centerpoint on the icon two clicks to the right, it will adjust the centerpoint of each preset by two clicks to the right. Though this seems bizarre to me (why would anyone want to make the same adjustments to every preset?) it seems to be what is happening.

Any help, confirmation, or alternative views appreciated. Thanks.
