Sorry for sounding stupid... But idk jack about transmissions, does a 5 or 6 speed= better mpg..? I think a manual short throw style in an obs would b bad ass or a T56 auto ratchet shifter...

1st gear in a 6speed in our trucks and most trucks is pointless.
