So I have the autoride but upon the moment when I lower my truck I plan on removing it and going standard rear shock set up.
My question is the system worth anything? Compressor , shocks , hardware. Seems to work but I'm no expert on how well it works. Don't plan to tow or pack the tahoe with people in order to test it out.

Any other ideas on how to test it?

It does do a cycle upon start up.

Check the shocks for rips and if the compressor cycles when you start the truck sounds like it works.

If it's all OEM and works might be worth something to someone

I dont wanna make money off the autoride, just wanna help pay for a 2/3 drop lol. Thinking of buying rear parts first then keys up front turned to 1.5" (spindles later).
I also have rear helper bags right now. Im assuming I can keep those.

Or should I keep it for when I sell it ? Don't feel like it's a major selling point.

Mine hasnt worked in a while, just did this yesterday:

So I noticed when loaded these djm springs are a little on the soft side. The stockers even with with the auto leveling not working still handled load well. I knew I needed to address this. I inquired about an air spring kit for lowered vehicles and they told me I need to measure. Once I got my measurement I ordered a custom fit kit for the rear coil springs. I figured it would be a good time to retire the probably original 200k mile shocks also.

Here is a pic of the stock shocks with the blown out air bladders plus the compressor that was mouted to the framerail.

Here is the rear end sagging, and the new air spring helper installed.

I routed the lines, T'd them together and ran it to a schrader valve i installed near the hitch. They fill up really quick with the shop compressor, think bycicle tire quick.

Driving/Towing results to come.

You can see where the red arrows point on the bumper

I like where they're at, hidden from view and the outside elements.

No way id want them separate. Would never want one aired up and one flat in the event of a bag or line failure. Id rather all or none.

Yea not sure why they're separate. I might redo the system and got to one line.

But if they're T-ed together, then wouldn't the air from one bag be forced into the other bag during cornering? In a turn with the vehicle leaning, the outside bag would be squashed more while the inside bag was inflated more. This would increase and hold the body lean until the vehicle was out of the turn and the air equalized again.

Or am I not understanding something?
