Yeah, I even stopped by to get a "I have to do something over here, you need to leave" conversation. I ordered it thinking I had a coinflip on if it was picked up in the next week or so, and now months later I wont even get a short conversation on it every now and then.
Ask for your deposit back, that may get their attention...
I would probably get my down payment back it will probably be a 23 now if it's not built.
its a loaded denali with zero miles so unless I think there is a situation I cant flip it when it comes in i'll leave this iron in the fire. Even if they order it and it comes in they wont have any issue giving me back my deposit.
Did they actually order it, or take your money and say they did. You have an actual order sheet with a 6 digit order code? I think they are giving you the runaround with ignoring you and hoping you forget you gave them the deposit. They should at least talk to you and give you info of some sort any time you contact them. If it were me, i would go in and talk to the manager, or even owner if need be to get information from them as well as your $$ back. Id look elsewhere for a dealership that will at least communicate with you, even if they dont have any new information to share from the last time you talked to them. But that is my opinion on it.
Starting to think that is the case.... I have an order sheet but I absolutely dont have an order number as I was told these were not a thing until the order is "picked up by GM".
My order sheet had an order number, even as a preliminary order. You should go investigate with them more and get some answers to why they have been ignoring you.
Based on everything you've said in this thread, your dealer is not honest and has taken your deposit money and not placed an order. They are hoping you give up and find something else and don't bother to ask for your money back.
