So I have a service airbag light. The dealer diagnosed it as a B0083 code. A B0083 code corresponds to:
B0083 Passenger Seat Position Sensor Circuit SDM DTC B0083 or B0084

The dealer is charging $160 for the part (no part # was given to me) and 1 hours labor at 100 bucks + 13% tax where I am = 300 bucks...

So are they going to replace part # 15267756? Is this the part that needs to be replaced due to a b0083 code?

I called another dealer about this part and it's $59. I have a slight feeling the other dealer which diaganosed it is ripping me off.

If this is the part, can it be replaced DIY or do I have to bring it to the dealer?

go to the dealer and ask for the part, when they bring it out, look at it and say "no thanks, ill wait"
go home and take a look under the seat for the same part and if it looks like a diy for you then go back and get it from the dealer or order it from gmpartsdirect.com (usually half the price)

then install :)
