Did you disconnect the battery first? Also, the link said the sensor is for an 07, what year is yours?

Thx. I wonder if the nbs sensors work on the nnbs.Yes I disconnected the negative battery terminal and pulled the airbag fuse for good measure. Mines a 05 Yukon
Funny how the doorman is more then the original gm part.I cross referenced a lot of part numbers, look at this Dorman link and there is two gm part number they're product replaced. Or you could pay like 8 bucks more for the Dorman part if you want.

That's what I said too, and why I bought the one i did. Be careful though, 2003 model could be different...Funny how the doorman is more then the original gm part.
Those sensors are known to fail due to being over tightened at the factory. Check this one carefully when you pull it off and look to see if it's squished or cracked.Just like last time, had the battery disconnected for a couple days (reflow of the abs module) and hook it back, up, airbag light pops. now its the other side airbag sensor. damn it! i guess i'm not supposed to disconnect the battery on the yukon ever!
It wasn't cracked. Not sure why that's matter anyway - it's bad so who cares lolThose sensors are known to fail due to being over tightened at the factory. Check this one carefully when you pull it off and look to see if it's squished or cracked.
