Back Pressure Gage/ Cat Test for Blockage/ Hot Floor

Has anyone ever pulled the o2 sensor to see if there catalytic converter was plugged? My passenger side floor gets pretty hot. I'm thinking I can pull the o2 sensor and adapt a psi gage to the hole and check my back pressure and then pull the rear sensor and check there also.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this done or even gets the hot floor pan.

Never done it but that seems like a pretty neat/logical idea.

Have you tried looking at the torque pro app with a bluetooth/wifi OBD2 scanner???

You can look at the temperature of your cats as read by the rear O2 sensors.

I don't have a scanner yet, I do have a Diablo Predator 2 tuner which does read codes from what I read. I was going to get one of those lazer temperature reader guns. I think I have everything I need in my garage to check the psi so may as well do that.
I would like to hear if anyone else has felt the heat on there passenger floor though.
