Been driving my truck for about a week now intermittently and noticed a rattle underneath. first thought it was a heat shield till i went and checked. one of the cats rattles like a jar of marbles. now my question is what has everyone done for this? i did some research saw they sell the whole set of mid pipes with cats. found it on rock auto for 280$. has anyone just cut and welded a new cat in place? any other solutions other than just deleting them? lol

if it has downstream o2 sensor you wont want to delete them but yes the cat can be cut out and a new universal one welded in . Thats usually the cheapest way .
