My 2007 Yukon XL has been having a bad power steering leak. I think we narrowed it down to this small hose. Does anyone know a part number/name etc and where I can order it? And how to replace it? Lol. It seems to be the one with the metal attachment going to it (from near the engine). Sorry, my photo editor isnt working so I cannot circle it . (AND I don't seem able to attach photos unless I currently take it with the phone right now)

When trying to upload images to this Forum, there is a file size limitation that is smaller than many cell phone cameras produce, so you may need to reduce the image file size, in order for it to successfully upload. When applicable, I transfer my cell phone image to my PC's Desktop, and then I use the free app ScreenHunter to take a screen shot of the image, and it delivers a file in the KB size, versus the cell phone's MB size.

I just use snipping tool in Win 10.

I use photo viewer and drag the image to the approximate size i want, then snip the image box.

If you ever notice my image boxes are all over the place, this is why.

This forums software allows for a direct copy paste using that method.

Simple fix. Flush 2 qts thru steering, return line to bucket. Turn wheels left/right a few times, stopping to refill pump. U Tube may show you how if you don't have service manual.

Awesome. Thank you so much!
And is it just as easy as unscrewing the hose at each end and installing the new one?

Sorry guys. Between my bad eyes, not being as experienced as you guys, and not being able to see and reach things ... I have more stupid questions....

The one schematic shows what seems to be this hose going to the hydroboost which it doesn't.

I can most likely get the end off near where the power steering fluid cap is (I feel a nut behind it).

But the other end goes down to where I'm pointing at, towards the bottom of the car. Someone mentioned it looks like it is the top one, but it runs to the bottom / right one where I'm pointing at.... BUT I dont feel a nut . Do I need to jack the truck up and get under it and I will see it on the BACK of it or something ?

Sorry for all the stupid questions, it seems like an easy job , I. Just paranoid (and don't have access to a jack roght now. But I can probably park it on the concrete and crawl under. Thank you for all of the help

(And this is the correct hose? I was just concerned because the attaches hose is thick rubber and the new hose is that plastic-y ribbed hose)

Where the clamp is, that's where it is currently leaking
