Bad ride and noise?

The Tahoe is my wife's DD but every time I drive it I'm amazed at how quiet and smooth it rides, my daily is a lifted dually so really any other car will be a smoother ride.

The dealership discouraged switching to a smaller size. They say it would effect speedometer, may effect other electronics and might trigger check engine light?

Yeah thats total utter ********.
