i just came back from the DMV and as i was going i heard a small clunking noise coming from the front passenger wheel, as i drove more the noise got worse i called a mechanic he said it was the wheel hub that needed replacing but to drive home slowly..as i drove home the ride was very shaky and once i got home i jacked up the tahoe and the wheel was very loose all the lug nuts where loose and two where missing and one lug was broken..thank god i made it home tho because if the wheel would have fallen compleatly off who knows what would have happened

Are you 4x4? Try getting the lug nuts back on and fixed and see if that helps. If not more than likely it is your hub.

I had to replace them on my Silverado. I had some wheel shaking and my abs light came on and I almost didn't stop pulling up to the mechanics shop.
