Gotch'a...... I have the shorter links and relocated my sway bracket and bar to clear the pan hard..... I will have an adjustable pan hard in a few weeks too...... I also don't have auto ride, thank god, it seems like a real ***** for those who want to roll low......

yea i think thats what it was, the pan-hard would hit it, thats why i took it off, i didnt feel like doing the shorter links and all that, i might end up finding some shorter links in the future just to give the truck stiffer on turns

Id say that the only reason to remove the sway bar is if you wanna go lower and cant because its hitting something. Id rather fix the hitting/rubbing issue of components than remove them. Seems like the only time not having a sway bar would be beneficial is if you were hittin switches side to side.

which i plan on doing......but i really dont have that much sway after taking it off, it will only really work if your running bags, but when i took it off and drove with it right before i put bags on it i was swaying like crazy....

I've been running mine without a sway bar for almost a year with no problems. I think the key is to make sure you have individual valves for each corner of the truck.

I maintained the rear sway bar by using rear sway bar links from a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. I also cut and relocated/welded the rear sway bar mounts on the frame.

Perhaps here in Colorado I find myself on the highway rather often doing 80mph. I-25 has construction down the majority of the highway between Fort Collins and Denver making it imperative to retain the sway bar.
