Battery Life when parked, 2023 Tahoe

I have left my ‘21 Yukon Denali parked for 3 weeks, no issues starting it.

How long can I expect the battery to last when the 2023 Tahoe is parked? Can I go 2 or three months and have it start, or am I looking at 2 or 3 days? I know that asking for a month or more is a lot but my 2008 Chevy gives me a dead battery in 2 weeks. I successfully fixed this issue on the 2008 by installing a Prioritystart battery isolator. It is also good if I am camping and inadvertently draining the battery from the RV. Can a battery isolator be installed on a 2023 Tahoe, and if so, is this a good idea or bad idea? I know that the vehicle can shed load by turning off items such as the AC if the vehicle is running and the battery is going low. Does this sort of thing happen when the vehicle is turned off? In other words, does the vehicle effectively already have a battery isloater built in?

all the corvettes will not start after 2 weeks; constant source of annoyance

none of the GM products do any type of load shedding while off; they have off protect if you leave say headlights on, but nothing to adjust load while sitting

Recently purchased a 2021 Yukon Denali and put a battery monitor on it which shows 0.07v drop (12.15v -> 12.08v) in 48hrs.... which is ~90ma draw if my calcs are correct.


I did this monitoring because I got a low battery alert within 7-10days of sitting in the garage when I first got the rig. Even after driving multiple hours, it seems to go <12.0v after just 5-7 days.

Assuming the 0.035v/day drop that would be 14 days more to 11.5v which is pretty darn low. Can't imagine mine starting after a month - unless there's some battery preservation smarts in the system - where loads are stopped after a certain voltage?
