Brick,

I would think something is wrong performance wise if you are only getting 10 MPG. On a bad week for me I get 13.5. Have you had a complete tune up, MAF/TB clean, fuel filter replaced?

Drive with your RPMs instead of your MPH. Keep em low and you should be alright. Especially in hilly areas. People here get pretty good mileage if they drive right. Makes sure everything is running smoothly too

WhoDat,

I have an 01 therefore I do not have the on board MPG cal or whatever it's called that the newer models have. I use a method I got by googling it. I fill up at a certain gas station paying attention to where my gas needle is, drive until it's time to fill up again. I try to fill up at the same gas station and with the needle being at the same spot. I write down the miles i have driven, then divide that by the number of gallons it took to fill it up and this gives me my MPG.
I don't know of an easier way than this so if someone else does please chime in. I keep thinking there has to be a better way of figuring it out than this method but haven't found one.

the bottom left 2 buttons keep track of all thaT stuff you just have to press them they will tell you, the litres used is a good way too, take total km on trip and total litres used and figure out your self an average. it is pretty acurate my truck said i used 71l last time i filled and it took 70.3
