BB Tune question

I got a scan tune. I also have a catback exhaust and a CAI and i`m sure if i were still running my ugly stock 16 inch wheels i`b be getting even better mileage.

I got an 01 kon 5.3l pretty much stock just have a k&n filter in a stock box and I cleaned the throttle body last weekend. I'm pretty bummed by my MPG. I have 71k miles, any suggestions for tune up? Was planning on getting a Cai and changing the spark plugs soon and want to get a catback to let it exhale better. Anything else? Fuel filter? Fuel pump(may be on its way out if that matters?). Any help is appreciated.

O and also 90% of my driving is local, very local. My apt, work, and my school are all within a half mile of each other.

Try Seafoaming it to clean the intake at the throttle body. Search the forum for techniques. I would also make sure your K&N is clean and not over oiled. Do the plugs, and other simple maintenance tasks. You could spend less than $100 and see if it helps. If not, there is more going on.

I gained a few mpg's after I replaced intake with AEM Cold Air intake and put Royal Purple Fluids in the Differentials.

Just cleaned filter few weeks ago and oiled it fine. I wanna do seafoam but afraid I might blow some sensors that wont be so cheap to fix. Its just frustrating, was actually thinking about selling but I love it too much.

i put new plugs wires and fuel filter and drop in k&n and made monster gains in my mileage. but this is sure getting off what i wanted to know wheres all the ppl with bb tunes? i talked to justin today he pretty much convinced me to to get the scan tune so told him put me on the waiting list, has anyone had the traditional tune?

sry to hijack, wasn't my intention. A BB tune is on my list down the road good luck with yours, once its time for me I will be wondering which tune is the best to go with.
