Hey,

I am thinking about buying some used 18" Z71 wheels off a 2008 Tahoe. What is the best tire size to mount on these rims? My Tahoe is not lifted or modified in any way and I do not want any rubbing issues.

I did a few searches and general consensus is either a
285/60-18
or
275/65-18

Which one of these sizes fits the best?

Thanks
Dan

Depends on what you want it too look like. The285/60 will have a smaller side wall height, but will be wider on the ground. The 275/65 will be taller. Not sure this helps any! I would go with the 285/65 IMO

Oh God another tire size thrown in the mix!) does anyone have this tire and can confirm that there is no rubbing at full lock?

Will a 60 height tire affect towing? I tow a 6,000lb trailer in the Summer months if that is any consideration.
