Im looking for coaxials...the caught my eyes seeing that they put out 50 watts rms

well speakers dont put out power, the amps do but i understand what you were saying.
ks65 are at the top of your budget, dont get loud enough for those of us that have 5-6000+ rms stereo systems but they dont sound that bad.
Kappa 652.9i are at the top of your budget too.. sound better than the ks65s have a lot more mid bass but can seem a lil bright at times...

i personally run pro audio and each of my mids currently get 250rms and tweeters get another 100 rms each. new setup my mids will get 200-220rms each but im doubling cone area as well. doing 2 6.5's in each door

What door speakers can handle 100 watts rms? Ill only be running a pair of 15" AQ 1000w rms subs along with a 2000w rms mono amp(not sure what amp but maybe the Alpine MRP-M2000) but I want my mids/highs to be loud, clear, and crisp...

BTW, I meant those ds6.5 can 'tolerate' 50w rms lol.

dont put no alpine amp on the hdc315's... and 1000rms will tease them. they're conservatively rated for ppl that dont understand how to properly set gains, ppl that use bass boost which is nothing more than distortion, ppl that dont properly know how to use a bass knob ETC..
id get at least a AQ2200 but if you can get the AQ3500.1 (4200rms)
DJ the owner of AQ will tell you that that setup will preform perfectly, i've done setups like this many times.

as for speakers that will handle 100rms, MANY! coax and component. hell mine are currently getting 250rms each and my tweeters are getting 100rms each.. mine are pro audio mid/tweets. if you have sub/s pro audio may be the way you wanna go
