I figure out most of my repairs on here and the Google. But I want to get a book to keep in the garage for quick reference. I'm just curious what y'all recommend as the best. I know of Hanes and whatever that other one is. What say you guys? Thanks.

Got the 4 books factory manual...You could trouble shoot anything about these trucks with it...

Are any of these available online as a PDF or download?
I've had one for my Dodge Rams in the past and they have been a lifesaver!
Best part is the searchable PDFs!

The 4 factory books are poorly written compared to other manuals i have read. You constantly have to jump back and forth to do one procedure and you waste a lot of time in the process. Drawings are repeated multiple times, even thought they are exactly the same. This takes up huge amount of space and probably why the damn thing is so huge. Compared to Toyota manuals, GM manuals are about a decade behind the times. I don't know if I would waste money buying them.
