Hello all,

I have just purchased a 2007 tahoe, it the LT edition. I was wondering what the best HID conversion kit for the headlights? I have had many of sets in my older f150 but they was always them cheap ebay china ones. I want to put a good set in my tahoe. I was wondering what everybody was running and what is the best brand to use?

many are going to say different brands, as you really cant go wrong now-a-days. But i just ordered some from DDM, still in back order, so i havent been able to install them. there are others who have purchased DDM and love them. i personally bought 3 sets because of all the good reviews, plus they are cheap, dollar wise, and have a lifetime warranty! so i would look into them

You can get them from DDMtuning.com and they're $50 for 35-watt, or $60 for the brighter 55-watt.

If you want the brightest you can get, it's probably worth spending the extra $10.

according to DDM the bulb is rated at 60 watt so if you buy the 35 kit and dont feel like they are bright enough, which i ordered the 35 watt and have seen others with it and they seem bright enough, then you can buy just a 55 watt ballast and swap out. as for the relay i have heard either way for and against, but i did not buy the relay as i see no need for one.
