Best performance MOD

I am new to all this performance modification business. I moved to a 2011 Tahoe last year from a 2005 Nissan Armada. There are few things about the Armada I miss - most notably the engine. I find this 5.3L a little week in comparison, especially when towing.

Of all the MODS posted in this forum what would make the most impact on engine performance ?

Help it breath.... as mentioned the cold air intake, a free'er flowing exhaust (doesn't need to be louder - try a Magnaflow!) and follow all that up with a custom PCM tume. Should be able to do all for $800-1000.

We have both the 5.3 & 6.2 V8's and it's hard to drive the 5.3 after driving the power of the 6.2!!!

The guy is extremely helpful and will get you what ever you need for the install.
