Dude just contact ANY of the guys mentioned in this thread and ask them for pricing. There are a million options.

I emailed Ken at Denny Lenholt Chevy on Wednesday and got a response with pricing for all the options the same day.

Yeah. I understand that. I'm just wondering what others paid. I thought I remembered someone posted a low price dealership that everyone was getting their warranties from. But I can't find the thread. Maybe I'm wrong.

So I was curious what others were paying. To take my warranty up to 5 years or 100k miles they want $2,500. Seems pretty high to me. I think I will just do without it and take my chances.

Greg Bell (bellgmpp.com) quoted me $1,815 and $1,525. Problem is I took poor notes so I don't remember what the difference was in the 2 plans or how far the coverage goes out. I know there was also a $100 processing fee and $0 deductible. Also know that I had to sign up in the first year or 12k miles. Unfortunately that's all I wrote down. Sorry I don't have more.

Are you guys talking about getting the extended coverage AFTER you purchased the car?

I didn't know that could be done, and it's through GM?

Yep. They try to scare you into thinking you can't. But you can.

I went with Jerry Hayes, seems very affordable for the coverage they provide. I plan on keeping the truck for at least 10 years so this just adds some peace of mind.

Why doesn't anyone put the cost of how much they paid? Is it an unwritten rule of the forum?
