Best sport truck for mild build?

I'm thinking of a faster "fun" truck for summer 2023 - wife says Tahoe, but I think more like a pickup

Requirements - needs to burn rubber on command, be 2wd, and V-8 , currently have a 5.3L, wondering if a 6.2L pickup would be the way to go?

Want something to rip around Tampa Bay, add wheels, exhaust, maybe slight build?

Already have a 5.3L Tahoe LT, bone stock though.

I would get a 6.2. A power added (s/c or turbo) would easily get you to 700-800 reliably with the ten speed.

I vote for the 6.2 as well. Get a 2wd truck because you don't need 4wd where you live. Then open up a business called, "The Incredibly Fast Delivery Company".

I can confirm that a Yukon with a super charger will burn up as much rubber as you can buy.
