Duct tape, hose clamps, zip ties-all different sizes, vise grips, pliers, both types of screw drivers, pair of gloves, good set of jumper cables, spray can of penetrant , and maybe a hammer and a metric socket set. You can't prepare for every emergency but this covers some of it. If possible also try to carry a quart of oil, some pwr steering fluid, brake fluid and some water. It's a lot but the first time you need it, you'll be glad you have it.

Those kits look fine, as long as you have the room to store them. I use any brand fluid I buy. I figured I'm just going to add and not do a complete fluid flush.

All of the above it great to have. I have three pairs of vice grips. Flat screw driver. A hammer in where the tire jack is. Some tape and a small socket set from home depo. I got it from a liquidation store. And last some oils that I leave under the hood. Just tools enough to get me off the Hwy. From there, beg and borrow the rest hopefully someone nice is off the Hwy and willing to help. If not pay out the ass at the Hwy shops :favorites68:
