I have the Turtle wax product but have not had much luck on black. It worked well on the wife’s light bronze metallic but on black I get streaks.
On my black optima I got streaks too. Just follow up with a damp cloth. It will clean it right up.

So was it the polish or the spray wax that streaked?
The polish streaked but to be fair it may have been how I applied it. I washed the truck and then went and applied the polish by hand. I let it haze and went back over with a dry microfiber cloth. I got lots of streaks all over and was a bit disappointed. Later I went back to read the directions and noted it said to go over it with a damp microfiber cloth to remove the high spots and activate the shine. The other product is a spray wax that I don’t like. I am just going to dump it into my wash bucket for a wash n’ wax mix. This is the stuff I don’t like.image.jpg
I will consider trying the other Turtlewax spray detailer mentioned before but I have had good luck with this Meguiar’s product:

I ended up buying the Turtle wax ceramic products Bob posted pictures of. However, I went ahead and finished using up the Meguiars Paste wax I had left. I read you can't use the ceramic over regular wax because it won't bond to the paint. I'll test the ceramic products on my son's black vehicle.....

Thanks guys for all your feedback.
