Bi-Color LED Switchback Turn Signal DRLs

Looks like they eliminated the DRL and replaced them with cornerlights/flashers . I have v-LEDs switchback on my cornerlights/flashed and v-led DRL as well and work as they suppose to .

Wondering if any of you guys can help me out. I ordered a set of switchback LEDs from v-LEDs to replace the front signal in my 09 yukon. For some reason the light will only flash with the signal and I'm not getting any white light from the parking light. Every thing I searched seems to suggest the 3157 is the same as the 4157 in my truck but on the bulb there only 3 metal prongs as opposed to the 4157 which has 4. I'm thinking that that is why I'm not getting the parking light but nobody seems to make a 4157 specific switchback bulb. Is it really the same or how did you guys get them to work?

The 3157 should be identical to the 4157, the only difference is the 4157 is higher wattage so a little bit brighter. The only way you would have less contact wires is if the bulb is a 3057/4057, which are single circuit bulbs as opposed to the 3157/4157 which are dual circuit.

Did anyone ever find out how to wire the switchback LED's like Sumo's projector retrofit? I'm interested in doing the same. Any info would help tremendously! Thanks

Wiring help

I've got similar questions that have been posted here. One other questions is regarding the DRLs. Does this setup use both lights on each side as the DRL/turn signal combo and are the DRL in fact on all the time or just at night or just during day? I'm a little confused sense i haven't really seen any set ups where is wired as a dual on each side and the DRL work during the day using both light on each side. That is my preferred setup. This could already be doing that I just wanted to make sure.

Secondly, I too am needing the wiring diagram to perform this mod.

That's exactly what I'm going for. Considering trying this out. My thinking on wiring:

Get a socket from Chevy to match the turn signal socket, wire them in together (just tap in on the signal, ground, and park light wires and run it over to the old DRL socket). Then use a relay to run DRL's when that wire (now unused) to provide power to the setup. My concern here is how this will play with the park/signals when the DRLs have power.
