kybs are what i just returned. way too stiff for me but you may like them. i had the gr2s

hmmm. can you compare them to the sp's? do they absorb bumps pretty well? belltech shocks ride good but they just dont absorb bumps very well. everytime i hit a bump in the road feels like the cars about to fall apart.

never ran SPs. they are a little jaring. straight line on a good road, they are smooth. hit a bump and feels like the rear is bottomed out. im running the fronts now and they are a little smushy but better than worn out stockers. im lowered 1.25-1.5" with stock keys up front. going to bring it up 0.25-5" and see what happens. right now in the rear im running leaky wore out nivomats from my old tahoe. raised the rear an inch but rides so much better than the kybs did. still not great though. riding on 5303 springs fwiw. im dying for a shock to bring the rear back down but just closed on a new house and about to bleed money there. need to conserve where i can.

you should try the nitro 2's. theyre actually not that bad if you want a soft ride at a moderate height. i think the rebound on the belltech shocks are better than the bilsteins if youre lowered and a lot cheaper. check the airlift 1000 kit for the rear also if you bottom out. cost less than $100, but that little thing improves the ride dramatically, its crazy.

at full rear drop with the 5303 springs i have 3" between the bump stop and control arm pad so im not bottoming out.

i've thought about the nitro 2s but have just heard so many bad things about them. pm me a shipped price for just the rears. if you ever try the gr2 shocks, im interested to hear what you think compared to the SPs.

i will definately be getting the airlift kit for towing. what pressure did you run when testing all these shocks?

pmed you. im running about 12psi right now. 10psi-15psi is good depending on the height you want the rear to be.
