4600 is for stock or lowered, 5100 is for lifted. Which are you? Buy the right shock. Might solve all your problems.

I am looking to get 5100s for my 05 Yukon. The Z55 autoride gave out @130k.
It's confusing trying to find the right parts to convert it to coil and gas shocks too many Bilstein models and not enough information on what oem systems they can replace.
What did you use?

Why the 5100s instead of the 4600s? Do you know the difference?

The 5100's are a little bit longer and can handle a budget lift. They are also valved differently. The 5100s are digressive and the 4600s are linear.

I own both on different vehicles. On my caddy I have 4600's. They are a little more comfortable in general.

I have 51xx's on a Jeep. They are stiffer initially which helps combat body roll on a lifted vehicle on the street and soften up a little when they are worked hard, I.E. offroad. This works well for my Jeep, and really helps with stability on the street.

My experience as well! My lifted Jeep WJ rode very stiff with 5100's. The 4600's i put on the Yukon ride like a dream.
