So a few weeks before the guys were in town to tune my truck, I got an error code like P-0120, or something like that, telling me my throttle body was out of position or something. The code went away of course before it was tuned and the truck ran great.

Well the CEL has come back on and everything I've read on this issue suggests to clean the throttle body. The truck still seems to run just fine, so I haven't noticed anything there yet. But where this concerns me is that I also read that since I had it tuned, that the truck would need to be re-tuned after cleaning because it was tuned with a dirty TB - as opposed to the computer just relearning the idle.

Is this true? Will I need a tune adjustment after cleaning the throttle body? Will I have any issues if I'm unable to adjust the tune since I'm here in TX and I don't have a spare module? I love the tune adjustments that were made, and if the truck will drive even better with a clean TB - I'll be ecstatic. Just hoping I don't have any issues after cleaning it with a tuned computer.

Just curious what's my best next step?
