Damn I want one badddd,,, I'm going to have to go the autocal route since they are not close to me and I have two years warranty left, this way I can switch the tunes when I go to the dealer

Yup that's what I have!

@cavan & @jmat--haha, yes the wifey is pretty smart. Although she just filled up the Tahoe with gas at 7-11 (76 brand she thinks) when I specifically told her to go to Chevron...so you win some, you lose some

UPDATE: ran 2 tanks of 92 chevron thru it

DIC ended at 14.3 avg mpg.

Got 665 miles out of two tanks. This puts my "real world" avg at 12.78 based upon a 26 gallon tank. However I'm sure the volume of gas used is skewed since when I filled it the second time (wife re-filled first tank so don't have those numbers) it only took 22.5 gallons.

Assuming the same gas usage of 22.5 gallons on both fill-ups that puts it more around the 14.7 range.

Dang macho! Non of this is making it very convincing to me and definitely won't get past the wife. So how much city driving is it? Do you remember where I live it is kinda country rd driving, you know. I wonder if my avg mpg would be the same if it was stoplight to stoplight. You need to take that thing on a trip so we can log some good hwy miles. :)

I'm sure it is a lot more fun to drive though and I would love that!

Jim, it is MUCH more drivable and much more FUN! It's 90% city. I had two brief hwy trips (20 miles total) which helped get it up on the DIC but it promptly averaged out to the 14's after a few days.

At 14.3 on the DIC It is atleast improving with the better gas, from the 12 mpg on the DIC we were seeing.

ALSO:
I've been running it in the 89 octane Tune with the 92 octane, per Justin's recommendation because of the poor gas. I've now switched to the 91+ tune with the Chevron 92 in it and will be updating it with the mileage.

I'll get a tank thru it on the stock tune for the final comparison.

Edit: we've also been running in AUTO, so I'll be happy if we end up in the high 15's because the 16.5mpgs we were getting before the tune, was during summer in 2HI.
