I want to replace my OEM Grille with a black one, but the frame around it is chrome and I guess that isn't sold by the grille folks. Any ideas?

Just take off your assembly, and paint your current one. Use a really good paint to do so. I used some factory match paint on my OBS when I touched up my assembly and bowtie. Paid $20 a spray can, but it was worth it.

I don't like the OEM replacment ones. Where the bowtie sit's looks cheap to me. I'd find a factory sport one if you don't want to try and paint over your chrome.

to paint plastic that last I use Krylon Paint, for some reason the chemical composition of it it fuses the paint to the surface no primer needed.... have not use it for big projects but in small items looks good. And I am actually thinking of painting my whole grill black (chrome right now) or just swapping it for my RIP Kon grille..
