black housing headlights

anyone have suggestions which brand to use? theres a ton of em on ebay and im not sure which ones to get... i want black housings for the headlights and running lights but not projectors or anything like that.

Yes, if you do black housings, at least make sure they still have the reflective chrome like posted above. Don't go all black housings or your light output will be greatly reduced.

Hello all,
Hey Tino, can you post some pics of your truck with the new lights ?

My Tahoe is silver birch and I'm thinking that the black houseing lights would look a lot better than stock. I'm trying to stay with a silver/black look.

Now that you've had them for a while do you think the light output and overall quality of the part are as good as OEM ?

Who is the manufacturer of the part ? Ebay ads only say "aftermarket".

Any input from anyone as far as brands that are good quality or to stay away from?

The ones that Tino has should be about the same as oem as far as output because they have the chrome reflective part around the bulb. The blinker/drl housings on the other hand are all black and will not reflect any light so those will be much dimmer.

I have a white Yukon and I have considered this if I upgrade to some black 26 inch wheels. I like the black on white look it has a nice sophisticated look.
