Hello All,
I have a 2010 tahoe 5.3 and am getting a substantial amount of soot in and around the exhaust tip. My vehicle burns maybe 3/4 of a quart in 6,000 miles so nothing crazy there. I am wondering if I should consider replacing o2 sensors and if there is anyway of knowing if they are bad. I had my vehicle tuned for regular but now run premium. My milage might be a little worse than it was a few months ago but nothing significant. The soot just seems to be accumulating faster and now that I am about to hit 100,000 miles I would like to get this figured out.
Any suggestions?
Seth
