When I was 17 I was running around in a 1979 Pontiac Firebird....

I took a 301 out and put a 400 cubic inch in...... in my driveway with a friend.

I could light up the tires on it..... hit 2nd every time.

Good ol days.

I had a hole cut in the hood....

Stuck a hi rise on top of the carburetor..... the air filter used to stick out from the hood..... at idle you could hear it sucking air.....

Cats were gutted..... straight through. Used to go into town just to hear it wail off of the high rise buildings.

Yeah you know.... I have been there ... done that..... I have owned a lot of vehicles over the years.....

as such I have learned that cars are always a depreciating asset..... never get back what you put in..... sure is fun along the way though.....

Congrats on the exhaust and the bumpers you ordered. Dang that shit is expensive tho! It will be worth it once you get them on tho. Once that's complete, will you be doing the Airaid and a tune?
