Like 08 said check the rack too..... just in case. I take it the tie rods and the rest of the ball joints etc are all good because you just went through it all.

Mine was leaking internally. They actually poke a hole in the boot to see if its holding fluid. There were no leaks visible on the parking spot floor. I got lucky and found it before warranty expired. Check your dipstick first. It's a closed system so of its low there that's a indicator. Good luck.

The rack is a steering component right?

But isn't part of the steering column? Because I just had the column replaced because they said something would eventually go wrong with it and that was under warranty.

Also where is the dipstick for that located?

No the column is separate. That is so weird why they would say it would eventually go bad. Steering columns are not a common fix.

The dip stick is in the pump cap. Right under the alternator.

I had them looking for a clunk noise which I eventually found on my own and they said while looking they noticed an issue in the column and that it will eventually need to be replaced but not now and I asked them to replace it then before I forgot and didn't have warranty.

But ok I will go check that.

It appears to be quite low!

Sadly the dipstick told other wise it's still holding I guess the liquid is just clear and looked low. Maybe it's just straight black idk but it's up to the cold full position.

Mine was a quarter inch off. Not much but I always check hot on level ground.

I have read that the idler and pitman arms will make the front sloppy when bad. Of all the suspension parts I have changed in my life I have never changed those but when I looked them up they were these two small parts.
