Oh ok. I read that issue about box setting you back before my hiatus but I thought you bonced back.
CarToys charges way too much for labor. They basically rip peopl off. I had them build me a box for my Alpine Type R almost two years ago that I wanted to take up the WHOLE area where the removed third row seat was so that the track would be covered.
Those ducks went a built some tiny ass ish and charged me $360 for a simple ported box with a carbon fiber top. That is complete nonsense. I could have hopped on Ebay and found a box built and tuned for the Type R of equal or better quality for $200 less than that. Hell my 7 cubic foot box for my current 18" sub only cost $330 and it is of higher quality than the CarToys box.
They do know what they are doing there (most of the time) but avoid using those guys for anything labor.
