I've just replaced the front lamps, sockets and housings on my 2001 Yukon. Everyhting works well except for the sid marker on the driver side. It is dim (connections are good) and I don't have a blinker on that side. I had a driver side blinker prior to changing the hardware out. The lamps and blinker work fine on the passenger side.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

If you replaced with LED's, they have to be installed with the correct polarity since LED's have a + and -. If one doesn't work, reverse it in the socket.
