Blocking off rear heater

When I was ordering some connectors to bypass the tee....a split ring plastic tool was listed among the connectors. I ordered it....hope it is the rite one and works !!! Think it was the Gruven site.

I have the connectors and split ring tool ordered....it is gonna be a pain to get to. Will have to rig up something to lay on. Kinda under a ridge too.

Be prepared for coolant in the face.

Invest in one of these to help keep that to a minimum. You can disconnect the tee at the firewall and run one of the tubes down as far as it will go and suck it dry. I use it for all my fluid extractions. I was able to replace a radiator without a drain pan. Just removed coolant as I took things apart from top to bottom.

Also good for draining the transmission pan to do a filter change without a bath.
