Did some searching/reading and see that the blower resister is a known problem for GM trucks. A few months back, my blower started taking a (varying) number of minutes to come on after each car start. Does not matter whether it is AC or heater, the fan simply doesn't kick in. This can sometimes be 5 or more minutes. If the blower is on and I turn the car off and then immediately back on, I once again have to wait a number of minutes.

I don't believe this is expected behavior as it never did this in the past. Any leads on whether this is the resistor, the motor itself, or something else altogether?

Thanks!
