Well with winter approaching something has happened to the blower motor in my wife's 2016 Suburban LT, no air moevement from under the dash regardless of setting. Going to dive into troubleshooting tomorrow... searched and haven't seen anything common. Is this a frequent issue? Any shortcuts to check before I start checking fuses/relays and chasing wires?

I'll post when I know something, I guess with 80k miles on it something is bound to go wrong... hope it doesn't wear out my wallet.

Yep... ran the diagnostics and it's a bad blower motor. Got an AC Delco replacement on the way for $129.99... hope the new one lasts more than 2 years. :uhoh2:

How difficult does it look to access?

It was really easy actually... Just 4 7mm screws on the cover and then the 3 torx screws that hold in the assembly. Once I had it narrowed down the blower motor swap is a 20-30 minute job including a beer break.

Ignore all the extra screws and removed trim, I uncovered more than needed to troubleshoot all the way through and isolate the issue since I live in the middle of nowhere and throwing parts at repairs doesn't go well.IMG-8370.JPG
