First post here, Good Morning

Have an 05 Tahoe, blower motor not working again. I've done the resistor, this is the 2nd one in like 3 months. Even with this recent one the highest fan setting never worked, but the rest worked fine and I rarely ever need #5. However, while driving air comes out the vents nicely even though the fan isn't working. Not sure if I have another bad resistor or a secondary problem. Any ideas?

If the air is still coming out of the vents when you are driving it is coming from outside. The air is pushing through the AC box and through the vents from outside.

A blower going bad will over draw and burn resistors. I'd change the motor along with the resistor next time.
