I already went broke once doing an engine.
However that looks like it would fit in my boat nicely.
It already has a GM bellhousing/bolt pattern.

That's nice.... but that may be a hard cam to live with due to the weight of our beasts...
If you had 4.11 with a 2500+ stall converter, it may be fine... But it would idle
like a trailer queen

Good point. I guess I was thinking Camaro rather than SUV. Maybe a 454, but with a 40 gallon gas tank. That BP crate starts looking a lot better now.

Why not just swap in a 6.2 with a cam, headers, and tune?

Easiest plug & play solution to bigger power without worrying about the controlled fuel leak.
