Yeah, I get that. Sometimes you can get away with certain things when it comes to lines and whatnot. The OE hood and HD hoods are more of a perfect match for the overall body line theme of the truck.

Right... family is going out of town Tuesday for two weeks and I planned to put in work on the Tahoe. Ordered all my bits and pieces to finish up this stage on Monday, then went into the final game of our softball tournament. Obviously I need another challenge or setback, so I broke my ankle in the game. Now I get to figure this out. Lol...

And I still have two more boxes of stuff that will be arriving over the next couple days.

Oh shit. Why aren’t you at the hospital? Or are you just going to splint it with some of those random parts in the garage?

I went and had surgery to screw the lower tip of the tibia (basically ankle bone) back in place since I broke it off. Now it's splinted but mobility is a PITA since I can't put weight on it.

Did you win the game at least ?
We won. Happened in the tournament championship game. Close play and got under the tag (and the base) so it was worth it... but not really? Lol

Custom cast meow.
I asked about it being a cast. Planned on painting it up. They splinted it and wrapped an ace around it. Told me not to unwrap it to see what they did. Kinda has me worried and curious.

widebody cast
it is quite massive right now.
