150 is fine. Even up to 180 I'd say is fine. You don't need to worry on temp until you're up around or over 200, imo.

Yes, that's the piece you need. Worked great for me.

Ok thanks. I just dont have a separate vehicle to use if the trans dies. Plus I'm working on buying a house this summer so yea....

My transmission makes me so nervous. I see my temp gauge go to 150 and I read somewhere the trans should be around 110-120 preferably. It got me thinking I should upgrade the trans cooler.

I also worry all the time that the trans will grenade on me randomly lol

I have all the supplies to do the trans flush and filter change I just never find the motivation to do it.

I might buy this piece here to facilitate the flush.

I wouldn’t worry, 150 is normal. And it shouldn’t grenade unless you’re launching full throttle from a stop in 4wd all the time. I mean, I was doing that with around 500 horses lol. Something was bound to give.

I don’t see a BTU rating for that one, might look into that. I see a gvwr rating but that doesn’t tell you how much it cools. Tru Cool lists both on their website. I’m sure that one’s better than stock since the stocker is real small though. There’s smaller Trucools too for closer to that price.

I see I wouldn't even know what to look for for BTU. I just want better cooling
