If you’re talking about spring spacers and by removing them your wheels seemed to move forward, yes they probably did. The lower you go, the wheels will move forward and to the right due to the panhard bar and control arms. To correct the forward/ backward distance you need adjustable control arms and for the left/right distance you need an adjustable panhard bar, which are all available from Spohn.
