Bose amp removal

Do I have to completely remove my console to replace the Bose amp?

Yes, but its really easy if you have tools at your disposal. No special tools just long phillips screw driver makes it easier.

Where is the amp on a suburban 04? I need to pull mine and sell all the stock equipment

i was hoping i only had to remove the inside part of the console to gain access to the amp

It's been a little while but I only remember having to take out the black "bucket" part and the back side where the controls are.

And I removed the Bose amp and replaced it with an aftermarket amp and I didnt have to remove the entire console.

I removed my console without removing the seats. Long screwdriver and shifting the seats is all.
