Bose sub replacement

Has anyone replaced the Bose sub with an aftermarket 6.5" sub? I was toying with the idea, of course powering it with an amp.

not sure wat you are saying? I have a SLT with Bose...

who installed your pioneer? did you buy or get billed for an expensive adapter? if not then you're probably not utilizing the bose amp, and therefore not using the factory (sub par) sub

I had a shop install the head unit and thought I bought everything I needed to get factory speakers working... I'll email now... thanks!

MTX thunderform similar to the stealthbox, available with a built in amp, maybe a little easier to install
